Let’s face facts: there are a lot of “fly by night” and less than stellar contractors in Kansas. Home improvement is an easy industry to get into as there’s close to ZERO regulation. And frankly, it tends to attract people who are only after a buck.

Our goal – or should we say, the MISSION – is to raise the bar here in Kansas for exterior remodeling to a whole new level. To do that we’ve completely eradicated all of the negative things this industry is known for so your final product is absolutely perfect...

We start by strongly urging homeowners we work with to invest in the highest quality material. For windows, that’s fiberglass. For siding, that’s seamless steel. Fiber cement is decent. Vinyl is cheaper, but it tends to warp, fade, crack, and die early. Whoever decided plastic -- vinyl is just a fancy word for plastic-- was an ideal material for windows and siding must have been crazy…(or just after a buck). In Kansas, steel is the best hands down.
We refuse to employ incompetent contractors. Sure, they’re cheaper… but like vinyl, they don’t get the job done nearly as well. At Midland, we prefer our own in-house employees so we can tell them how we want things done, where our standards are, what to wear, and how to act.
This is why we offer the longest warranties in town, and service over 350 THRILLED customers a year. We cost a little more (literally, a LITTLE!) and we take a little longer to complete the job, but our results speak for themselves.
