• Marvin provides you (the direct purchaser) with a limited lifetime warranty on the windows and a 20-year warranty on the glass.
• If or when you sell your home, the warranty goes to their 10/20 coverage, which we’ll look at below.

Marvin’s 10/20 Warranty Details

10-Year Coverage

• Ultrex fiberglass, including the Ultrex fiberglass finish and other non-glass components, will be free from manufacturing defects.
• Non-tempered glass is warranted against stress cracks caused by manufacturing defects.
• Hardware and other non-glass components are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects.

20-Year Coverage

• Standard insulating glass with stainless steel spacers is warranted against seal failure caused by manufacturing defects and resulting in visible obstruction through the glass; 20 years for sizes up to 60 sq. ft, and 10 years for sizes larger than 60 sq. ft.
• Marvin’s standard exterior aluminum cladding finish is warranted against manufacturing defects resulting in chalking, fading, and loss of adhesion (peel).
• Factory-applied interior aluminum finish is warranted against manufacturing defects.

After project completion, we’re going to keep a close eye on you for the first year. If any installation errors were missed, or any manufacturer defects somehow made it through our inspections, we’ll take care of it.
